Steve Wilbanks
My interest in computers started in 1978 with the Tandy TRS-80 back in the days of loading computer programs with a cassette player. Back then for me, it was about the games and trivial things you could do with the computer. Then in 1985 while working in a Reno Casino, a friend of mine introduced me to an Intel driven DOS based 8088. I could not get enough information on these computers fast enough and it wasn't long before I had purchased a used one for 5 dollars. The computer didn't work so I took it apart, repaired a bad power supply, flipped some dip switches and got the video to work. Since that time, I have been building, troubleshooting and repairing computers and networks on a variety of platforms from MS-DOS, through Windows and several different flavors of Linux. This includes setting up and maintaining networks from scratch and spending 4 years as a network support specialist for a major manufacturer. I enjoy working with and educating my customers and the public in general.

I seek out challenges and am driven to be the top in my area. I seek excellence in customer service and fairness regardless of time and effort and believe in practicing empowerment to achieve maximum productivity while allowing room for creativity. Click here to email Steve directly.
